Joint observation of the Perseids meteor stream in the night sky directly on the Havel. Enjoy the shooting stars with us and a relaxed evening with cool drinks. Feel free to bring your own deck chair or picnic blanket. The event will not take place in case of rain/storm.

Sat. 17.08.2024 Bat night at the Albertinenhof

Ranger Bea Koch teaches interesting facts about bats and their nocturnal activities at the Albertinenhof. The nets will be set up together for the planned trapping action under the guidance of a bat expert. The specimens caught will be identified on site. Bat detectors can be used to locate the bats that cannot be caught in the net.
Tips: a flashlight and sturdy shoes are helpful. A camera can also be used to capture a specimen that has been caught in the net in a different way.
